Right is in your attitude. If the writers begin to put sense in the story and logics and brain in the jesus like we viewers want then it won't be fun. This show is hilarious, I mean it's not by miles the best show out there, but it's so ridiculously funny. Why they selected Park Bo-young in this show. She can open door, open bottles etc without damaging them. The jesus were really funny. Thank you, for showing me, in films from many time periods and places, glimpses accurate or fantastical into this part of the world. Was she drunk when writing this half-baked story or did she just deliver her story towards an audience that was so smitten over PHS + PBY that they'd possibly wouldn't even care about what she cooked up. From a newbie in acting like him his performance is comparable to other professional actors. The ending was good though! I'm seriously going to miss this drama.
Strong Woman Bong Soon - Can't stress it enough how much I wait for the next episodes! It delivered what was expected and then some.
Her strength is hereditary and passed along only to the women in her family. Her dream is to create a video game with herself as the main character. One day, Bong-Soon helps out a bus driver who is being attacked by a thug. Soon, a small mob of thugs attack Bong-Soon, but she is easily able to wipe the floor with them. During this time, Min-Hyuk drives up to the scene of Bong-Soon beating up the group of thugs. Min-Hyuk is the CEO of video gaming company Ainsoft. He has recently received anonymous threats and even followed by an unknown person. Min-Hyuk believes Bong-Soon would make a great bodyguard with her amazing strength. Besides offering Bong-Soon high pay, he even offers her the chance of working in the planning department of his gaming company if she does well. Meanwhile, crimes against women take place in the neighborhood where Bong-Soon lives. Detective Kook-Doo also lives in the same neighborhood. They have been friends since they were kids. Bong-Soon is also madly in love with him, but he has a girlfriend. Kook-Doo tries to solve the case and Bong-Soon and Min-Hyuk are pulled in. I wish they really dated in real life :, the comedy scenes was quite cringy especially the feces wine and that strange monk named nizamuddin because that monk was in a temple but out of the blue his name is a Muslim name weird but the leads, their story and the kidnap story was really cool. A highly recommended drama. It might be a bit overrated but I think it totally deserves that rating because it was a lit drama. Park Hyung Sik is so handsome and Park Bo Young is so cute. Them both are such an OTP :, I watched this drama cause my friend recommend it. I like the first episode but get annoyed by the second and the third episode i just watch 3 episodes do bong soon really dumb and keep causing people get hurt. I continue watching this drama cause i feel pitty for the victim. When the main character keep continuing her life like she didn't give a fuck. Maybe i just can't leave this feeling when watching while you were sleeping. I love park bo young though, she is another reason i want to watch this. But her character here is so nah. The chemistry between the 2 main actors is amazing! More than JUST amazing! The story keeps you on your toes, makes you laugh, makes you cry and swoon, Because it is so frickin adorable! So yeah, I definitely recommend the drama! The drama is so addicting and cast are all so amazing. Park Boyoung play her role so well as main character, Park Hyungsik adds well to plot as well as CEO of gaming company Ainsoft, and Jisoo what is there not to like about him, handsome af, and very charming. He does so well as detective Kookdoo. This drama is super fun, one of best JTBC drama of 2017 for sure. I love the actors in this. There is real chemistry. There are some illogical bits inconsistent depiction of her power and the cops are incredibly stupid in dealing with a serious serial-kidnap-murder criminal. But the charm of the romance and the doses of comedy helps one overlook the bobbles. Park Hyung-Sik is stunning in this--funny, dreamy, stylish, and when he weeps, your heart breaks. This has to be the funniest, stress-relieving, cutest.. Before I watched SWDBS, i thought a number of other dramas are the best? It felt so real that I can't help but smile like an idiot most of the time! Other actors are also well suited in this drama! I still can't move on that I watch it again for the 2nd time,watching all the BTS, and listening to the OST and the cycle continues.... The actors are superb-how DO they do those tiny expression changes that move the plot? I remember the first show I watched can't remember which one when the comedy was frantic, almost unbearable to watch-like being tickled past one's endurance, but then I thought about them living everyday next to the bizarre, paranoid North Korean military establish. I doubt that the writer of that program intended to convey this, but as a viewer here in the US, I could scarcely miss the invisible, but very apparent anxiety coming through the comedy. I am truly impressed by the skill of the younger actors 20-40s in interpreting their characters, and the plot-how do they do it? Sometimes the subtlety of their very small gestures is so gifted, yet they are so young! I find that the Korean programs are my favorite, and those from China second; both display an emerging modernity in dealing with moral issues, while maintaining such a strong, historical respect for country, family, and other persons. Maybe this-with so much bowing, and careful speech with others-is part of what draws me to this artistry; we here in the US should take lessons from this kind of interpersonal interaction-we would be less rude and uncaring if we took a few lessons from these films. I have wondered, in the past, when I've heard folks learning English as a second language, in school or perhaps, from American movies, how they do it so well? We in the west have always been drawn to the East, since Europe tried to find a way to China by water-and how these countries, despite our Western overbearing behavior, have maintained their own cultures and still incorporated Western ideas. I am anxiously watching North Korea's antics and paranoid military behavior, sitting in the boundary between Russia and the West-and I applaud the efforts of the writers in Korea and China to keep expressing themselves through the arts, especially film, when bombs and horrific war consequences sit so closely by. Thank you, for showing me, in films from many time periods and places, glimpses accurate or fantastical into this part of the world! This show was so hyped on the net that I have a high expectation of it. I have a slight worry with park bo young, mainly because she's the cutesy type of person but i totally love her in OMG, but as DBS, she is overly cute for a lot of instances. This is totally related to my preference but by korean standard, it shall be okay and for those who love them, great. I was a bit put off by AMH instance attraction to DBS, I could not feel them cause come on, it's only the first episode! They do have chemistry together, and I would not even be surprised if they're dating for real. The rest was great so far, minus the predictable family issues on AMH part and the ridiculous situation here and there. The show does deliver, so I would reserve my judgment until I finish the final. I would rate it 7.. But i prefer the chemistry of park bo young in oh my ghostess, and park hyun sik in high society.. Ok they mean to be funny but just too much.. I dont feel rush to finish this drama. Anyway park bo young acts better in Oh My Ghostess. Still watch it guys, you probably like it, im just commenting based on my personal feeling? This is a low brow comedy... However, if you just came to watch with no expectations at all, you will enjoy it and might totally love it. I first came to watch this with low expectation at all because all I know is Park Bo Young and am not familiar with Park Hyungsik. Am also prejudiced about him to be not good in acting because I am not familiar with him as an actor and thought he is just a nice face. But then, I was so wrong because he was the one who has drawn me to watch more episodes. PBY is still good as an actress and I expected her to deliver as usual but I was impressed by PHS' acting skill. He is a natural and I can't think of any who can portray ahn min hyuk like he did here. I will watch this kid's future projects. He has a great future ahead of him as an actor. This drama was really saved by the actors.... However after I started on this show, I think the pace is still alright although I find the gangsters n sch kids scenes a bit too draggy While most ppl is saying hyung sik acting is good etc, I think the one with best performance is Park Bo young I'm now watching it the third time n tried not to look at subtitles The expression, tiny hand or facial micro expression on park bo young face is really natural and professional It's liked she is dong bo soon. She isn't acting n yet it's a drama She is really good in her job. Liked her expression after she pushed the table against the dept team leader. How she still retain her power when she has caught the wrong guy motorcycle while she lost hers while saving her friend How she managed to control her power during everyday life n till survive without being trained by CEO. She can open door, open bottles etc without damaging them. She is controlling her power well too. How CEO Shld have the wound at the back but it ended up in front from the way he shielded her from the knife attack n back facing gangster. Its now one of my favorites. A kdrama that makes me feel like i'm reading something that makes me crazy. There is no chance of being boring so i did no skipping. The minhyuk and bong soon couple is so adorable that makes me giggle and smile the whole time. The conflict wasnt to very long so i like it heavy dramas makes me feel bad sometimes I wish there is a second season bcoz i'm still not over about SWDBS Honestly I don't what the hype with this drama. I watched this 'till the end but along the way I always get distracted or end up sleeping while watching the episodes. It conssits of too much talking and the drama is too exaggerated. Bong Soon being able to beat up a bunch of ken was already enough but when Bong Soon jumps and the whole house shakes? Now that's just too much. And while everyone is forcing PHS and PBY together, I don't ship Park Bo Young and Park Hyun Shik. I just don't feel it. I don't know the reason why but there's just something missing between them. I love Hyun Shik and Bo young tho. They're both good actors but this drama is just not as good as I exoected it to be. It just feels like people were forced to like this drama because of the cast and the hype of it. I enjoyed watching this series. I never get disappointed to PHS's acting. I also watched Hwarang and i started liking his acting sinve then. He delivered brilliantly his characters. From a refined King into a Sophisticated and lovable Ceo. From a newbie in acting like him his performance is comparable to other professional actors. I admit that i never liked the Story line. And it is bias to say that i only watched it because of Hyung Sik. I agree to the idea that the villain acted as greatly as the lead actors. But then everything was predictable. If i have to rate it from 1-5, 5 being the highest? I will give it a 3... THIS DRAMA COULD BE IN AN HOUR-AND-45-MINUTE-MOVIE. The drama started out great for the first episodes. At the beginning, the story was fun, happy, and comedic, and so were the actors. You'd expect it to be a good drama. But, I'm not sure if I could say that it turned out to be a good drama overall. The unfunny fillers with the gang, the nonsense parts, the amount of side stories, and the story being stretched way too much was what made me somewhat dislike the drama at a point. Don't get me wrong, the main crime storyline was interesting! It had me frustrated... I'm not sure if the writer knew how to fuse a romantic comedy and a crime story together. And I started disliking Ahn Min Hyuk at a point too, he just seemed too arrogant I guess? I did like Do Bong Soon's brother and also Gook Du. The ending was good though! But I don't know if I would recommend this drama to a friend, just because of how frustrating it got watching it... At some point, the plot was a disappointment for me, it could have been better. But overall it was fun! The gangsters were really funny! I guess they should have made a side couple aside from hyungsik and bo young. Comedic parts were greatly executed I especially love Baek Tak and Co's scenes but the mystery if we can call it that and love conflict scenes were lackluster. In my honest opinion it could've been executed better but I guess they focused more on romantic feels and comedy, well duh it IS a romcom. I guess the overall element of what they brought together isnt nicely and cleanly knitted. But if you want to just feel giddy and lighthearted, this is the drama that'll suit your taste. I really truly love this drama..! I never once feel like I'm watching a bunch of people acting. Lots of sweet, romantic, heart-stopping moments too. So sad it has ended already. Gonna miss you all. Oh gosh~~Park Hyun Shik~~His eyes though... If they really want to make a drama with multiple case inside it, they should do it like Signal, solve each case one by one I love this drama, the cast are amazing! Park Hyung sik and Park Bo Young i shipped both of you. I dont watch Kdrama a lot, but this SWDBS is the best and been watching over and over again. I seldom watch a drama over and over again except for a few selected ones. I just love romantic drama but SWDBS is more than that... He is so sweet and PBY is cute and adorable. Kudos to the production crew. I will definitely get hold of the vcd when it comes out. Im going to be really honest , i really love this drama , i couldnt wish for any better ,just thinking how they made my das through tough scool days , and homework. I alrealy know that i cant move on , this is just a wonderful drama too me. I will mever forget it. I feel like these two played off of each other so well and the dynamic between them is what really propelled the drama. The supporting characters in this drama were also really well played. Their insane and humorous antics made each scene lively and fun. I can honestly say that this drama never had a dull moment. Overall, it's definitely one of the best romantic-comedy dramas I've seen in a while. It's for sure worth a re-watch. Who cares if this drama is realistic or not? Why would you expect a superpower drama to be realistic?? If you did, then you are stupid. This was meant to be for a fun watch and guess what? It had solid light hearted humour and lots of fluff. This is one of the best drama i have ever seen. While there is a point in almost every other drama that it gets boring... But in this one, there is not a single second where i got bored. The couple's chemistry is really good..... I fell head over heels for him..... It make funs of many of the conventional ways of the day. It is refreshing and heart-warming because no one takes himself or herself seriously yet does a great acting job. No doubt nothing would have worked without the great chemistry and the versatile acting of Park Bo-Young and Park Hyun-Sik. They held the entire series together with their beautiful and deeply attractive acting. Ji Soo also managed to hold his own place and played his acting hand well too. This series reminds of great French and Italian movie comedies I have seen in the past. And this time I fully loved the Korean flavor. The sound and music effects were especially smart and creative. They enhanced every moment: from the sound of a baby's toy when Min-Hyuk wiggles his toes when waking up from his drunken sleep to the beautiful opera aria when Planning Director Kim Gwan-Bok felt emotional about his CEO. There is intelligence and humour everywhere. Even social criticisms are quick and fast moving. I had a great time. PHS,so funny cute and lovable. Yeah the plot is a lil boring, but.. They deserve best couple award. And tbh i dont mind with the plot. This drama is cute, tho. Especially love story between Min Hyuk and Bong Soon. So, i dont understand why did u think that way. SOMEWHAT OF A SPOILER! This drama is takes the biggest L of 2017. What the hell happened with plot throughout this drama? I had: 10-20% plot and 30-90% filler. Writer has a wonderful idea, but horrible execution. Not only that, Ji Soo was wasted here along with the rest of the plot. I couldn't even ship him with BS with how much of an asshole he was in the beginning.. Only thing I liked from the show was that BS didn't need a man to fight her battles + PHS has a charm that you can't deny. This is probably the most boring korean drama I have watched. I try to skip it or stop it. It totally does not make sense and the actors do not know how to act. The story line does not flow at all. It seems like those amateur movie of the past. This is the most disappointing. It looks like korean drama has deteriorated a lot. Something needs to do about it before the audience will turn off completely. I just love this Kdrama! The chemistry between Hyungsik and Bo Young is so cute, and rumors said that Hyung sik actually has a crush on BoYoung in real life. Omo, can they just, date already?! I'm sad only 2 episodes left and this show will be over. I love how min min showed how much he loves bong bong by staying by her side when bong bong told her multiple times to leave because the bomb will explode. Albeit they could put in more angst in place of fluff I like me some romantic angst, fluff is overrated LOL! I find it funny that Boyoung played a Bong-sun in Oh My Ghost! Hyungsik is being typecast as a rich chaebol. I hope they'll give him more diverse roles in future shows. And as much as I like Jisoo, he looks awkward with Boyoung, so I'm happy they give the former the lead male role. I really love this drama.. I didn't get bored even a second.. I just love the relationship between Bong Soon and Min Hyuk.. Their chemistry was so amazing.. But poor Gook Do.. He's always miss the timing.. Actually he missed his timing a long time ago.. I love Ji Soo but I really ship Bo Young and Hyung Sik.. Bong Soon family relationship also entertaining.. All the characters were amazing and great.. One of my favs.. The kidnapper is a great actor, he really pulls off the bad guy good. A little tired of the same old love triangle story though and wasn't Park Hyung-Sik already in one this year? Why do they keep putting him in characters that are the same? Give him some diversity writers. Ji Soo is hot and his characters always have many facets however he too needs a different type of character to play. Good actors but I don't like the domestic violence towards the dad. Is it me or the culprit looks like Seventeen's Dokyeom? Ever since the first time I saw him in the drama I thought he looked like DK because of his height and facial features. And to those who says this drama is bad, this is one of the dramas Ive known which has cool storylines. It gives different lessons when it comes to friendship, love, and family. I was never bored watching this at all. At first I thought it was some kind of similar to Weighlifting fairy, but I realize it wasnt. I just couldnt compare the two. Even tho it isnt finished yet, Im looking forward to see more projects of hyungsik with the female lead. They look so cute. To all the people who think that this drama lack common sense. First of all no drama in the world has this thing called common sense in it. They all are nonsense. There won't be any exciting things to show and the show will be wrapped up in 6episodes. To all the people who work hard all day this is the best drama to forget all the problems that you have been through. You will find yourself laughing at the cliches. This drama is the best medication for stress. That's the proper word to describe all the Korean drama's I have watch. Anyways I love Strong woman Do bong soon, this drama is spectacular because it shows gender Equality and also Park Hyung-sik and Park Bo-young as well as Ji Soo are great actors they collaborated a good cast that made each actors grow and shine in their acting skills. Looking for korean unexpected scenes and Hyung-sik acting skills and also I almost forgot the ending of this drama will on my birthday I'm really looking forward for the ending. I really like this drama!! Ecpecially phs and pby!! I dont like ji soo, he spoiled the relationship between phs and pby!! My most favourite part is scene both of them met ahn minhyuk's mother and at the beach after that, i almost cry you know!! There are fews i wonder about: 1. In episode 1, the scene pby save phs on the bus, is it his dream or real?? Because on episode 7 i guess, phs said that was happened ebout eight months ago, what was that?? I think pby wears the same cloth on episode 1 and 8, i dont know why i wonder about it but it it still ok. I cant wait for episode 9, looks like pby is crying for phs!!! She left her because she was working and had no police on guard in front of the room 4. The police have been looking for a place of disposal car but did not find anything. I like the drama and i love the cast, but does anyone else get super annoyed at how easy it would be to catch this guy if just a bit of common sense was involved. BUT THIS IS MY BIGGEST PROBLEM. I just think if they did a better job explaining these things, simply story techniques like having her be distracted or her duties needed elsewhere it would make more sense, and having the criminal send the police constantly on goose chases to explain why they can't put together the myriad of clues to find him. Oh and putting a police escort with the girl in hospital that was attacked, I mean come on I should be the only one thinking this. Why they selected Park Bo-young in this show? I don't think she fits the role as strong woman Do Bong Song or bodyguard to Min-hyuk. I'm so jealous, all the guys in this show are so damn hot and tall, over 180cm. I like Min-hyuk and Kook-gu and even Bong Song's brother, Bong-ki. My first time to like the kidnapper too. After seeing his profile, this is his first drama and he looks damn good too. Am I watching the show or the handsome actors? Hyungshiks acting is really truly impressing me! PHS is really awesome in this. He and Ji soo are both handsome but Hyung Sik is too good here. Have followed his cute face from Heirs to Hwarang to Strong woman Do Book Soon! He keeps getting better and better! Park Bo Young is cute too and their chemistry is fabulous! I like Park Bo Young , i think she 's cute but after watching oh my ghost and now strong woman its become boring to me. She always play same character and show her cutiness......... Perfect balance of hilariousness and drama, it hooks you into the action while also giving you a chance to sit back and laugh with or at the characters. If you are looking for something to keep you on the edge of your seats, but at the same time has a sense of humour this show is absolutely wonderful! The actors and actresses in the drama and fit for the roles, and can get you hooked onto the characters. It mixes crime and comedy in a way I have never seen before and it is truly enticing. Can't stress it enough how much I wait for the next episodes! It's definitely a must watch :D This drama do absolutely great. With the adorable cast you havw it can be spectacular. But i think there are miss editing at some part of this drama. Like when bong soon with her mom at the outside of their home i think i heard some sound which has the part of do-family dinner. I already know Ji soo because of Joohyuk their celeb bros and now I have time, I looked through Ji soo's bio. Park Hyung Sik is the 1st lead!... I always had 2nd lead syndrome... And I don't want him marry the princess that his mother choose as his bride!! Or please make a drama where the lead is Park Hyung Sik and Go A Ra... They are so cute together Yay Park Hyung Sik is finally the main lead!! From what i've seen in his previous dramas, he's a promising actor and looks adorable with Park Bo Young. Stay positive and let's all support Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon!! Is this a joke? The guy who barely utter a word in LOTBS? He is cute, sure but acting-wise, he's quite limited imo I also watched Bachelor's vegetable store, he was okay. Seo In Guk would have been a good choice as well, he has the acting chops. Hyungsik is one of the best idol turned actor, he has proven countless times he can act and hence deserves to be cast opposite Park Bo Young.
